Eastern Music: An Introduction

Session on the hour at 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm, and 2 pm.
Take 30 minutes with ethnomusicologist Jan Protopapas to “go deep” in a mini-workshop on Indian classical vocal music with harmonium. Learn a simple melody in an Indian raga accompanied by a cyclical rhythm and experience new sounds as Jan leads small groups through exploratory activities.
