About Us

Serving the York music community through student and teacher enrichment

York Music Teachers Association (YMTA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit local affiliate of Pennsylvania Music Teachers Association (PMTA) and Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), which currently serves over 25,000 independent music teachers nationwide. Our goal is to promote the continuing education of independent music teachers in York, as well as provide performance and educational opportunities for their students.
