Mary Loyer
Description
Dr. Mary Loyer, Ed D., NCTM, has studied violin under Dorothy Gennusa, Grace Boeringer, Paul Windt, Raymond Paige, and John Eaken. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree, a Masters in Classroom Technology, and a Doctorate in Education. She is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music through Music Teachers National Association, a retired member of Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) and National Federation of Music Educators (NaFME). Dr. Loyer has made presentations at national music education conferences. She has performed locally and regionally with groups such as the York Symphony, Pennsylvania Philharmonic, Maryland Philharmonic, Baltimore Philharmonia, Hunt Valley Symphony, and the Andante Trio. She teaches private music lessons to students of all ages. Dr. Loyer, a retired public school string instructor, has served on the faculty at York College of Pennsylvania and is currently serving as Director of Music at Grace Lutheran Church of Red Lion.
